Before you ask, no that is not my real name! Nobby Giles is a nickname affectionately (?) given to me by my work colleagues for reasons that I will not go into here.
The images on this site were predominantly taken using Olympus OM system cameras, scanned using the Konica Minolta 'budget' scanner DiMAGE Scan Dual IV and resized for the web using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. Though with time they will be replaced by scans from my new Epson Perfection 4490 which also has the ability to scan medium format transparencies.
Although still relatively new to photography (thanks to a protracted house move curtailing the practical side of the hobby for nearly a year) and will certainly not trouble the professionals I have however, gained a great deal of pleasure from every image captured and displayed on this site.
